Decided 2026-10-29: the website is static HTML (like the prototype), hosted on Infomaniak's free hosting that comes with the domain, in Switzerland.
Limits: 10 MB of storage, one website, static files only [verify]. Enough for the site; photos must be compressed (WebP, about 100–250 KB each), videos are embedded from YouTube or Instagram.
HTTPS: free Let's Encrypt certificate, renewed automatically by Infomaniak. The paid certificate adds nothing we need.
Upload:make site-build, then zip the contents of site/ (cd site && zip -r ../site.zip . -x '.DS_Store'), upload it in Infomaniak's web file manager (WebFTP, ftp.hosting-ik.com) to the site's root folder, extract, delete the zip. make site-deploy (rsync) only works if the hosting has SSH [verify].
Redirects:site/.htaccess (generated) sends http:// and www. to https://alpformflow.ch and shows our 404.html. The Infomaniak manager has no switch for this.
Cal.com, maps and analytics run on their own servers and use no space here.
Later: if we build our own booking (phase 2) or need a server app, we move to other hosting. A static site moves in about an hour.
