Meeting: questions before we start¶
Prepared 2026-10-19. One list of everything we need to decide before building the real website and opening the salon.
How to use this page in the meeting
- Go through the sections in order. Section A blocks everything else, so do it first.
- For each question, write down the answer, who takes it on, and by when.
- After the meeting, answers move into Decisions, Business facts or the topic pages, and the question is removed here.
- Sensitive answers (partner shares, money, budgets, personal data) are not written on this public site. They go into the private notes (
private/).
A. Business & legal (blocking)¶
- 2. Partners and roles. Who are the partners, and who does what?
- Roles to cover: therapist, website & tech, marketing & social media, admin & bookkeeping, client communication.
- Shares and money: private notes only.
- 4. Therapist. Qualifications and diplomas, recognition of a foreign diploma if needed, and a work/residence permit that allows this work.
- 5. Fiduciary (Treuhänder). Do we use one for registration, bookkeeping and a legal check of the website before launch? Who?
- 6. Bank and payments. Business bank account, TWINT for business, card terminal (e.g. SumUp) or not?
- 7. Insurance. Professional liability (Berufshaftpflicht), contents/premises insurance, accident insurance.
- 8. VAT (MWST). Do we expect less than CHF 100,000 turnover a year (no VAT needed), or do we register voluntarily?
B. Premises¶
- 10. Use of the premises. Is commercial use allowed? Do we need a change-of-use permit? Can we put up a sign?
- 11. Parking. Which car parks do we recommend to clients? Are there private spaces? Fees and payment methods
[verify]on site. - 12. Opening date. Target date, and what must be ready by then (equipment, linen, oils, furniture)?
C. Service, prices and rules¶
- 13. Services at launch. Only the anti-cellulite massage? Which services may come later?
- 14. Durations. Trial session 45 min and regular session 60 min, or different?
- 15. Prices. Final prices for the trial session, a single session and the packages.
- Note: the prototype shows CHF 130 for 60 min, but the Dikidi account shows CHF 100. One price everywhere.
- 16. Packages. 5 and 10 sessions? How long are they valid? Paid in advance?
- 17. Cancellation and no-shows. ✅ Decided 2026-10-24: no cancellation or no-show fees, no deposit (cash only). Clients are asked to cancel as early as possible.
- 18. Opening hours. Days and hours, seasonal changes, holidays and closures.
- 19. Languages. Which languages does the therapist speak with clients?
- 20. Gift vouchers. At launch or later? Sold online, in the studio, or both?
- 21. Payment in the studio. ✅ Decided 2026-10-24: cash only at launch, no online prepayment.
- 22. Client health questions. Do we ask about contraindications (pregnancy, varicose veins, recent surgery…) before the first session?
- Why: health data is sensitive personal data under Swiss data protection law. If we collect it, we need a clear process: paper or digital, where it is stored, who can see it.
D. Booking tool¶
- 23. Which tool? ✅ Decided 2026-10-24: Cal.com. See Booking tool: buy or build?.
- Open: the booking screen follows the visitor's browser language. Do we want one Cal.com event type per language, so it always matches the page? See Booking calendar language.
- Criteria: booking screens in DE/EN/FR/IT, a "Book" button inside Instagram/Facebook, booking from Google Maps, cost, ease of use for the therapist.
- Test result so far: Cal.com follows the visitor's language. Dikidi opened in English, showed one Russian label ("Без категории", "No category") and its own cookie banner.
- 24. Account owner. In whose name is the account, and which email and phone are used?
- 25. Reminders. Email only, or also SMS/WhatsApp reminders (may cost extra)?
- 26. Data we ask for at booking. Minimum: name, phone, email? Anything else?
- 27. Public profile. What may be shown in the booking window: the therapist's name, photo, location?
E. Website¶
- 30. Email. Business addresses on the domain (e.g. info@, booking@)? Which provider?
- 31. Design. Keep the prototype's style and colours? Who designs the logo?
- 32. Photos. Professional photoshoot of the studio and the treatment? (No before/after photos; see the ad rules in Marketing.)
- 33. Texts and translations. Who writes the texts, and who approves them? Who translates into DE/FR/IT (native speakers, not machine translation, especially for the legal pages)?
- 34. More languages later. e.g. RU, UK, AR, ZH: which ones, and when?
- 35. Legal pages. Impressum data, privacy policy and cookie banner. Who checks them before launch (fiduciary or lawyer)?
F. Marketing¶
- 36. Social accounts. Which do we create (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, WhatsApp Business), with which handles? Who posts, and how often?
- 37. Google Business Profile. Who owns and manages it? Verification needs the real address (by postcard or video).
- 38. WhatsApp number. Which phone number is the business number? It should be able to move to the WhatsApp Business API later.
- 39. Ad budget. Monthly budget per season (private notes only). See the plan in Marketing.
- 40. Who runs the ads? Ourselves (recommended) or a freelancer for the first setup? How many hours per week?
- 41. Local partners. Which hotels, chalet agencies, gyms and salons do we contact? Who contacts them? What do we offer (commission, free session, cards with a QR code)?
- 42. Opening offer. A special trial-session price or an opening event?
- 43. Reviews. How do we ask clients for Google reviews (a card with a QR code, a message after the visit)?
G. Later (Phase 2)¶
- 44. Booking from WhatsApp and AI assistants. When do we start? See Phase 2: Booking everywhere.
- 45. A second therapist. At what point (bookings per week, waiting list) do we hire?
After the meeting¶
