Mailbox plate

Created 2026-10-29.

The Gemeinde asks for a business plate on the mailbox board of the building before the self-employment registration is finished. The other businesses in the building have the same kind of plate: white, about 20 × 10 cm, with a dark building label in the top-left corner.

Chosen on 2026-10-29: variant A

Logo left, contacts and QR code right. The print files (PDF, SVG, EPS, PNG, TIFF, JPG at 200 × 100 mm) are in the private notes.

The six variants we compared are below. The designer's redrawn logo replaces the sketch later; the layout stays.

Placeholders

This page is public, so the name and phone show placeholders ("Vorname Nachname", "+41 79 000 00 00"). The print file uses the real name and phone.

What is on the plate

  • Building label: "Chalet Place B", the same label as on the plate we replace. [verify] with the building management.
  • Logo: the main element, with "Alpform & Flow" and "Massage · Saanen".
  • Name and "Termine nach Vereinbarung" (by appointment).
  • Telefon, E-Mail, Web. The labels are in German, like most plates on the board.
  • QR code (most variants): opens alpformflow.ch. It carries a tag (utm_source=poster, utm_content=postbox), so we can see how many visits come from the plate. See UTM links.
  • Address: only in variants E and F. The board already stands at the building, so the address is optional.

Variants

A. Logo left, contacts and QR right (chosen)

Variant A: logo left, contacts and QR code right

B. Mirrored: contacts left, logo right

Like the foot-care plate on the board today.

Variant B: contacts and QR code left, logo right

C. Logo on top, contacts in one row below

Variant C: logo centred on top, name, contacts and QR code in one row

D. Dark plate

The same as A in the brand's dark teal. It stands out on a board of white plates. The QR code sits on a white square, because some phones cannot read a light code on a dark background.

Variant D: dark teal plate, light text

E. With the address, smaller QR

Variant E: like A, with the address above a smaller QR code

F. Without QR code, with the address

Variant F: like A, with the address and without a QR code

Before printing

  1. Building management (Verwaltung): who makes these plates, the exact size and visible area, the material (it feels like stone), how a plate is mounted, and whether the building label is printed on the plate or added by them.
  2. Print file: once the size is confirmed, we make a vector file (PDF/SVG, text converted to outlines) for the sign maker.
  3. Test print: check the colours on the real material and scan the QR code with two phones.
